I mean he supported Edward just to revive her, and even after so long has not married again even after polygamy has been made legal. I honestly think he deserves more than just be one of lily's side lover. plus james has not even been that of a great character being a bully all his life and lily has spent like hundred year's together with snape i don't see how she can love james more than snape. And i honestly want's snape to get what he deserves if after all this she still can not choose him then it's better for snape to find someone else. I mean he is a tower master i am sure there are plenty of fish in the sea for him.
