2024-06-11 02:08:05 +0000 UTCSpeaking of theories of mind: "the goal is to make conversation obsolete because it will perfectly predict what information you want and when you'll want it." Obviously this won't happen, but I find it interesting because, if Karl Friston's Free Energy Minimization model of consciousness is correct, succeeding at this would essentially reduce people to unconscious; awake and moving but completely zoned out and unaware. Sleepwalking in a more literal than metaphorical sense.
