Late to this, but Brian Clough also went on to be one of the most successful English managers of all time! He took Nottingham Forest from the second division into the first in his debut season, then literally won the league the next season! THEN went on to win not one but two European cups *consecutively* with that team!

2024-04-12 13:10:31 +0000 UTCNovember, I know you’re mad about other countries’ pension funds owning British things but I think you should know that a British retirement fund bought the train that runs to the airport in Brisbane (and it’s one of the only profitable public transport lines paid for by private capital in history), and although the Queensland government will finally own the train in 2036 the British pension fund is making millions off of our overpriced train.
