The Other End
Added 2020-08-15 07:38:31 +0000 UTCSomething I'd like to do after completing Rainshade is take the systems/framework I created for it, and reuse them for a smaller project or two. Though most ideas are fleeting, there's one I've been thinking about an awful lot lately:
A human living on a strange island, you are struck with an unknown, incredibly painful curse in the middle of the night. With your remaining humanity rapidly dwindling and the very air in your home lethal to your emerging new form, you are forced to flee to a village of similar-looking locals on the miasma-dense "other end" of the island. In particular, I'd want to focus on the relationships you have with old and new friends, and how they have their own thoughts and feelings about your condition — should you even tell them.
A bit on the darker side in its story and likely more effort than I'm expecting, I don't know if I'll ever make this, but in case I do, here's a look at some concept art exclusive to patrons~!
