It's super simple, but I love it a lot hahah and I really love Rick's healing era where he actually tried to listen to his therapist for once and attempted to find coping mechanisms besides maiming his enemies. Ofc he failed miserably because he's not capable of doing anything without turning it into an obsession but HE TRIED and honestly? He almost died too many times for me to give him shit about it
One of the many things he was doing specifically when he was trying to actually stay sober was reading. More specifically, he was strolling around New Rosea, digging through book stores and various libraries and was mainly searching for books with really odd and hilarious titles, and he'd just buy like every single one he found. Why? It seemed funny for one second and by the time it got to the "book throne" point, he was too committed to the bit to stop :,D
Rick also just in general adored books more than anything in the world. Like, you don't understand. He was a writer for a living which I feel I keep forgetting to mention HAHA, he did actually have a non-criminal job for most of his life BUT, his first love was really reading, and he'd read anything from science books to fiction books to poetry to encyclopedias to philosophy to linguistics, he was absolutely obsessed with reading and learning. If you want to win him over, just ask him about the history of Slavic languages, or about law and criminal psychology. He'll yap until he physically cannot

He’s so freaking enthusiastic and that is just pure energy to me hahah. I soooo wish I could sit and listen to the ramblings about language, and criminal justice or literally anything he’s wanting to chatter about! And lmaooo honestly I can get that. Being so drowning in books might be a bit on the annoying side of things if they take up all the space lolol. I think my husband is that way about my plants. They are literally in the way as you enter the house, so I vibe with Rick really well with the obsessive nature of things. lol He does need a library, then FJ can breathe a bit 🤣🤣❤️❤️

I absolutely agree with you and there are rarely things I find more intriguing when I meet people than seeing them be genuinely so knowledgable and passionate about a certain topic ♡ it doesn't matter what the topic is even, I just immediately wanna know more based on how interested they are in it ❤️ i totally feel you! and rIGHT HAHA i so agree 🤣 LOL FJ's been around Rick's book hoarding for YEARS, he can't take it anymore 😭😭 books are falling out of his ears but what can you do hahaha AAY I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT THOO!! ❤️ AND SERIOUSLY YUP HAHHA rick needs a library, honestly that would be his dream come true

2024-08-05 04:25:40 +0000 UTCHAHAHA LMAOO I'M GLADD i love his expressions here waay too much 🤣🤣 BHAHA THERE ARE NO CHAIRS 😭 sadly they have also been taken over by the book invasion, it's a problem bahahha ❤️🩹 Hahaha i imagine the pizza book was some anger management thing Rick bought as a conversation piece for his next therapy session (he likes to go to EXTENSIVE lengths just to avoid talking about himself you see :,D) And Rick is funnily not a huge fan of fantasy! He did read a hefty amount but he's much more into literary fiction or just straight up theoretical books. He really likes writing fiction but really enjoys learning about subjects more than reading stories (though he was a huge fan of realism and if he did read stories, he usually looked for the books from that period♡) He definitely read a LOOOT of law books during jail time tho haha not necessarily stories about crime but definitely law books. He did that in his free time too which is why he was such a menace in court :,D he majored in criminal psychology and dedicated the rest of his life to law and justice, so he was sort of a law consultant for a lot of people throughout his life (and that's why he was so protected by Justus - he was their semi-lawyer guy and their main connection to the law) And yee he does!! His native language is Russian, but his mom was from a west country english family (she was the first generation born in then USSR) so she taught him English from a VEERY early age. He also spoke German fluently. He was very big on slavic languages though, so he technically could more or less read a lot of related languages like Ukranian, Polish, most south-slavic languages etc etc. He couldn't really speak them very well and some just not at all, but he could read a bunch okay-ish just because he spent such a long time researching the history of slavic languages

What is GIVVVVVE to sit and chat with him on his extended knowledge on some of these topics!! Ahhhhhhh. And his enthusiasm!! YES. I’d match that energy in a heartbeat. That’s my favorite thing ever when someone is sooooo into their craft, hobby or thoughts. It just bleeds off of them and I love to be in the high with them. Lolol it’s so hilarious this throne of books!! Haha knowlege is powerrrr and what a better way to display power other than a magnificent throne to sit upon? Haha Poor FJ just there like, bruh. Lololol he doesn’t look the least bit amused by the rambling hahah. This is seriously soooo exciting to see these scenes here in prep for the reel!!! And the view in the house with the birbbbbbb. Hahaha I’m LOVING LOVING it. Soooo beautiful! I literally just ‘awed’ in happiness looking at these!
