♦ Anger Management WiP ♦

So, while I was in the mountains, I went back and started finishing a few sketches I had lying around and this was one of them <3 I've started rendering it but it's currently waiting for me to finish irl work things and some shop planning haha

Anyway, Rick and Justus are close friends who occasionally try to kill each other. At least once per book, one of them gets prissy and nearly kills the other, but it's all gooood hahaha they would never ACTUALLY do it (... or would they?)

Justus has been in this line of work since he was thrown into the world, but unlike Rick, he had a pretty good guidance and a good attitude about it. He was an excellent leader, he never once tried to make anyone believe he wasn't a criminal, and he largely didn't have an issue killing to protect his business (because, at the end of the day, to him, that was the nature of the field). He's very stoic, very calm, very composed, and you won't actually see him emote much, even when he is angry.

In a lot of ways, Justus had all of his morals really thought through at a very young age and he ruled the criminal world of Western New Rosea. Surprisingly, he was very loved by his partners, very praised by pretty much everyone he worked with, which allowed him to be pretty safe against any law and any authority that tried to take him down.

Rick, on the other hand, had no chill and only occupied the crime scene for mental health reasons, which made him like the anxiety-driven rabid cat of the group.

He was simply far too emotional and far too sentimental to ever be in this line of work and it absolutely showed in every single one of his reactions, a personality trait Rick hated and wanted to erase desperately, but Justus saw right through it. In fact, Rick's morals were why Justus liked him, it was why he kept him around, but he absolutely despppiiiised Rick's attitude to the core of his being bro :,D By the time he realized how genuinely chaotic Rick can be sometimes, it was already too late and Justus committed to being his field dad, so he had to roll with it

He found Rick useful enough to kinda want him to stay alive (and also felt slightly bad for him since they had some shared life tragedies), but deep down he fantasized of running him over with a semi-truck. I like to think he found him too adorable to waste though <3 like a scruffy cat he grew far too fond of to let go even though it keeps trying to poke his eyes out
