Added 2023-02-22 14:49:18 +0000 UTCHey, guys, I need some input when it comes to editing reactions (for Patreon**).
1) I tend to pause so I can process what happened or articulate my thoughts before I miss the chance, so do y'all prefer whether the footage stays on screen or gets cutout during these pauses (unless necessary, like if I'm reading extra text off the scene or drawing attention to a particular element from it)? Normally, I cut it out so only my camera footage is on screen until I unpause, when I want to emphasize my reaction but I'm inconsistent with it tbh
2) Do you prefer almost wholly unedited reactions (except for removing mistakes) or reactions with decent editing, like removing even 3-5 second pauses in sentences (unless it's got a good facial reaction with it), and that includes shortening occasional "what the fuck" moments where I stare off & try to process for like 10 to 15 seconds.
I know, it's all technical stuff, nothing super important, but I'm not the most skilled editor out there, so I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts so I can improve my content going forward. Feel free to comment about other aspects as well.
(PS: 2 episodes of Symphogear S2 & 86 Part 2 are coming today, don't you worry~)

I'll do my best to keep it as unedited as possible then, I need to learn to be less hard on myself as well, when it comes to making mistakes, stumbling over words/sentences, or if I need to take a couple seconds of silence to process. I do really appreciate the feedback, thanks dude!

2023-02-23 13:21:57 +0000 UTC1 - Doesn't matter to me either way, might even prefer if the show stays on screen, and it should be less editing that way anyway. 2 - I prefer unedited, most of us have seen the show anyway, we're here because we want to see what you think about and what it does to you. Less editing is good too. This is only applicable to Patreon, Youtube is completely different.
