Information on "One Time Release" Content
Added 2025-06-27 17:10:32 +0000 UTCOne more type of content that I'm planning on making available for COF, that you should be aware of.
"One time release" content will be exactly that. Content sent out to all ACTIVE patrons (that is to say, patrons that belong to one of the three tiers), one time, and never again after that.
I'm posting about this considerably early so that nobody is taken by surprise.
Again, and I don't want to keep driving this into the ground, but if you do get this content when it's released, please do not share it without my permission, especially these. To be blunt, I am trying to increase patron retention, and I would greatly prefer not to have to take the "loyalty reward" approach.
"One Time Release" content can happen at ANY time. It can happen tomorrow, it can happen next week, it can happen an hour from now. Don't miss out!
Edit: The nature of the game has changed. Turns out, I will very rarely re-release one time only characters, or in other words, characters marked as "Rare" in the shop.
Just to reiterate, you must concretely be in one of the three tiers in order to receive these characters when they are released. That means that, if you are in the free tier, or you have a cancellation date, you don't get these.

These will be via DM. As far as the limited content packs are concerned, I specifically said 5 days at least, because I'm probably not going to replace a previous limited pack until I have a new one ready to go, which could sometimes take longer than five days. But your suggestion is a good one. I could make the limited nature of those posts a bit more apparent.

If it's the latter, maybe a "this will be available until ", to help drive home the limited concept, instead of the potentially vague "will be available for a few days".
