Monster Beater Reki Released!

I now proudly add Monster Beater Reki to the list of completed featured games! Thanks to all the patrons who helped me debug the game, and all the patrons who supported me up to this point. It really means a lot!
Eventually we'll get another featured game in there, but no rush to have that happen right now.

2019-10-09 14:37:24 +0000 UTCYou could try updating your flash player. Outside of that and a potentially wonky graphics card, I don't know. Game should run fine, even on somewhat pre-modern systems.

2019-05-18 11:05:23 +0000 UTCFirst, go right to the maze; after dialog immediately return to the cave & rescue the elf. After those resume complete the maze with correct partner, she would said a dialog before you enter another path.

2019-04-23 18:49:33 +0000 UTCDuring the first stage on the second "day" (after meeting Foxette and going home), go back to the sunflower before you go to the gobos camp. It should have turned white and be tougher to knock down, but if you manage it you'll unlock a new special. If you press P while playing to pause the game you'll see the possible unlocks on the right; any that are greyed out you haven't gotten yet.

2019-04-18 11:45:10 +0000 UTCI'm stuck there too. The elf would leave and from the camp I'd go right twice with Foxette,who said to follow her but doesn't move w/o me, and get stuck there. I'd fight until Foxette leaves(dies) and fight some more until committing suicide. Guys Help

I've just tried launching it and PirateTripper did stay open longer than usual but the game worked fine afterwards. After PirateTripper closes have you clicked inside the Monster Beater Reki window to make it the active window again?

2019-04-14 11:56:10 +0000 UTCI unlocked everything. It's been pretty fun. But now, Pirate Tripper has decided to stop working. It opens and says it's downloading updates, but also opens MBR at the same time without closing itself. Can't get past the main menu in MBR. Tried waiting it out to see if it was actually taking time to update, but it just closes itself and back to square one. Anyone else getting issues?

Had you already finished the game in one sitting, and had started a new game?

2019-04-13 14:21:49 +0000 UTCYou need to fight Vexa with Foxette as your partner. On the screen before Vexa you should keep fighting gobos until Foxette says you've done enough, then move on. During the fight knock Vexa on her back and use Reki's ground submission. Foxette should trigger a scene and help out; do that 2 more times. I think Lulu only appears if Vexa is with you (could be wrong on that)

2019-04-13 08:58:19 +0000 UTCHey Bomb, new bug to report (not sure if it was posted previously) and a workaround for anyone else who runs in to it: I only had Ceruli left to unlock so I did that run last night, had the scene between her and Reki behind the ice cave, then she appeared again when I rejoined Foxette, Vexa and Lulu. I had Ceruli set as my partner and wanted to finish up so I ran past all the enemies on that last stage. When I got outside the dungeon/temple with the final boss Ceruli had disappeared, I couldn't switch in any other partners and the boss wasn't inside the temple either. Eventually I figured out if I continued from the main menu, although it defaulted me to Foxette, I could swap in a level 1 Ceruli. I thought I might have needed to defeat some enemies before she "approves" of me so I started fighting on the next screen. Ceruli being level 1 she quickly got knocked out and triggered the quick "partner defeated" dialogue. Level 1 Ceruli then disappeared and a level 60 Ceruli dropped in who I kept close to the end of the stage, kept her active for the boss fight, and then got to see the (incredibly hot) Ceruli ending. Sorry for the long post, hopefully that helps establish what happened!

2019-04-12 22:25:26 +0000 UTCI got ceruli by leaving foxette behind, and went to level 2 with no sidekick. Follow the mountain path, and it will lead to the first map again with the cave. She's in there
