You turn numlock on/off by pressing the numlock button on your keyboard. If you have a laptop, you may have to use the function keys, denoted as "Fn" on the keyboard.

Ah, it's ok i fixed it i just re download from the beginning. Other than that its a great game, In my opinion, though free mode should let you set your levels if free mode is more of a explore type mode. Would also like a gallery section where you get to see all the game over scenes. Other than that its a great game.

My partner at the time is foxette, And as for the cinematic, it just repeats where reki was saying whats that light over there then it cuts to the elf saying "I hate to leave" then leaves, they're for i only foxette. It's only when i die and respawns then enter that area with all the never-ending orcs then will repeat the cutscene again. I am playing the patched game.

Hi, I'm a bit confused in stage 3 (the forest) their this part where you just fight hordes of orcs. I fought them until I reached level 37, but they just kept coming. what's there to do? I'm confused? Also, I think they're a bug as well when you die on that part it restarts a cinematic where the elf disappears, but after that cinematic its just a black screen.

BombA is right, and that's an understatement. Second level becomes significantly easier when you grind during level 1. My suggestion: Restart, start level 1, and immediately after the very first checkpoint grind and go back to the checkpoint after the first three-four gobs you take down (which restores health + saves your level). Repeat until you're at least on level 11. You can easily get to level ~13-14 that way, which will make everything later on easier, if that's what you're into. Anyway I'd recommend that you get to level 2 at least on level 11-12, and use a similar tactic with grinding at the first couple of screens of the Valley (where the rocks fall and you fight the cabits), till you hit level 20ish.

Not necessarily. You just have to grind a bit until you hit level 10. Some would recommend you start over though.

Was suppose to be march the 10th. But now it's whenever bomb deems it fit to release. Which is a bummer if you ask me.

So I made it to level 2 and I'm only level 9. I read in your notes, you can only level up to enemies your level or lower than you. All level 2 enemies are level 10 or up. Am I stuck?

Finished it and unlocked everything. Here's a few suggestions I have: - A little jingle or sound effect when you level up. - After blacking out, have your character stand up. Having to button mash to get up is pretty pointless at that time. - The snow stage might warrant a seizure warning. - Review the exp formula a bit. I should not be getting 1 exp for killing a level 2 Gobos when I'm level 1. - Have the rocks in stage 2 fall down a bit slower. They don't give you enough time to get out of the way now, especially when the shadows are hidden behind a body, or when you enter a new screen and one falls right in front of you. And a bug I haven't seen mentioned: disabling blackouts doesn't seem to work in stage 1. Or at least, not for the single Gobos animation. I've certainly enjoyed the game, though. The fighting is decent, the characters are pretty fun and interact well, and I like the branching paths and multiple endings.

Well I know that it wouldn't be acceptable and I doubt it would've occurred. Sorry for saying such, as far as I know nothing has emerged but one video however it was a video from last year and it was an alpha build so nothing to worry about there. I'll keep an eye out just in case.

level 2 is very difficult. there's too many death zone. if i into the wrong way and random pattern guards's alarm. i go to title. i think that's terrible . need reduce difficult, random pattern.

i found a new bug it is pretty hardcoded and i can't progress past it this is my second time relaunching the game i am on level 53 playing with foxette only. I am at the point where the avalanche hits where the screen blacks out and reiki says oof..where..am..i i can't skip past the and progress no matter what * lol and you fall off the screen into an abyss if you go backwards *

It'd be nice if you could have a partner in Free Mode. Perhaps where pressing E just switched between all the possible partners (plus or minus Reki depending on if that's possible/easy for you to implement) with having no partner be something you can also cycle to.

Just finished playing the game all the way through, got all the unlockables and characters. Definitely worth the wait. I also thoroughly enjoyed Ceruli's end. not gonna lie, it caught me by surprise. At first the 2nd stage gave me trouble then i realized i had to go back to the cave. After that i had no problem beating the game. lol i kinda want to try to speedrun and see how fast i can beat it now.

Hm, the turn blackouts on/off seems like it should be in the pause menu, not a special feature you can only access in the free mode. Something as simple as not making the scene end until you press a key (just like Zako fight) would be nice.

I have played through the whole game twice, but don't know where to find the EXP Booster or how to recruit Ceruli, and thus would like to be spoiled on how to do that. I have also yet to see a Foxette ending (though have her unlocked). My first run had a party of Foxette-Vexa-Lulu, and beating Mirah with either Foxette or Vexa gives me Vexa's ending. My second run was simply Foxette and Mirah (until she left) where beating her with Foxette gave me Mirah's ending. On the second run, Ceruli never showed up to chase me, unlike the first run. She was found fighting Mirah. In both runs I let Foxette finish Ceruli off to see if it would unlock anything (as the pair look related to me) but nothing. Bugs: - If you get hit by the avalanche on the first screen and it sends you back a screen, you will continuously get hit all the way back to the checkpoint (even though there should not be an avalanche anymore) and be softlocked on the checkpoint screen as the phantom avalanche continues hitting you. - If you are still hiding in the barrel after Mirah and Lulu run by (as in you held the hide button until dialogue pops up) you are softlocked and can't move, due to being permanently hidden. - If Mirah defeats you in the forest you see the same scene of waking up with Lulu that you do if you win. This is not a bug. However if you are then defeated while you have Lulu before beating the goblins in the area, you are sent back to before you fought Mirah. This then lets you fight Mirah with Lulu, while goblins are still spawning. You're then back in the scene of waking up with Lulu (regardless of winning or losing). So I think this is a bug, as currently you can now lose to Mirah to see the defeat scene, then fight her with Lulu (while dealing with goblins) and win and still get the reward for beating her there.

my mini review:(please forgive me if my English annoys you, Not my First language) it actually feels pretty good that the game is so hard or should i say challenging is a much better word. Stage 2 is a nightmare though the falling rocks hahahha and they take away a huge percentage not that im saying its too much i have still made it to the third area all alone, i am seeing a new part of the story i couldn't get vexa however no problem lol i left foxette behind too, first run is going to be quite a hard run, without the unlockables but that's perfectly fine when you get a few of them it is so rewarding and gives you a breather for the next runs to come, i have gotten the hang of this game a bit i ran into a couple of the traps on purpose in the second run with the cannons in the second stage. I even let myself get seen in the sneaking area with those level 40s while i was level 25 i've beaten those moments quite a few time(2wice on my way in and my way out with the elf girl (NO WAY WAS I GOING TO RESET AGAIN I FOUGHT) (thanks to the special though... i wont specify which) very good game i wonder what's going to happen on my second run with the story. To the people vexed by the difficulty, yes i can see why it may be easy to rage and be infuriated at some points in this game, lol it takes patience and mastering to finish this game its possible i promise its not even that difficult , i dont even want to imagine what hard mode would be like though loll, but however i think if the difficulty issues are going to be addressed, my thoughts on this no rush at all carefully fine tune a few things, i say the game is fine for now it can be fine tuned but carefully because it is easy to submit to the cries for a little bit of mercy and say to yourself maybe it is a bit too much for these guys ending up with water poured on your efforts which you have placed within your game. I'm fine with the challenge. Thank you for the release Bomb - Love (side notes the leveling is interesting, i'm fine with the way it works, even killing those level 40s and doing those trap scenarios with no reward feels good, don't care just my opinion* // i love the snow level it has nice music, peaceful beautiful,)

After finding my way through the aggravating second level, I made it to some snow area that is bugged and prevents progress. On the screen where the avalanche or whatever happens, my game gets stuck in Reki's subsequent dialogue box after the thief speaks. Reki asks where she is or what happened (I forgot) in an endless loop. Also, f you go back a screen for whatever reason before the avalanche triggers, you also fall through the map into an endless abyss. This game is incredibly infuriating and should have come with some type of walkthrough or something to help out.

Having trouble with that second level? I did in fact, want that to be a tough scenario. Rich is onto something though. If you rush to the second level, especially without getting Vexa, you're gonna have a bad time. If normal is just too much at first, try easy mode and get a better knack for the game, or try going for a different scenario altogether. That is not to say that some rebalancing can't be done, but there are options besides trying to power through a tough section.

Grinding tips. In the goblin camp you can hit level 12 if you stay there. When you first get to the 2nd level go to the first area of enemies and just stay there and grind till twenty and head back to the check point if you get at half health. Also after the can in the 2nd level there are 5 or six areas you have to go to get out. And once you start it can be difficult to get back to the check point. However about halfway through level 20 enemies appear and you kinda have to grind there relying on the healing of the level up to stay. The way forward DOES NOT CHANGE. If you memorize the path it will help out. You only need Foxette to show you the way out once. Hope this helps out some people.

Okay beat the game. First what everyone is saying about the 2nd level is true. Although I have less problems with the jump attack(its annoying and will kill you at low health) more problems with the fact that they can out space you from the falling rock that take a second to fall and if a body is there you can't see the shadow. As far as I can tell the rocks fall randomly so it is really dangerous to go there. And to beat it DON'T GO TO THE SECOND LEVEL BEFORE YOU HIT LEVEL 11. if you did, restart, trust me. THEN GRIND TILL LEVEL 20~25. By then the weird leveling seems to go away by the third level. I killed a goblin and got 2 levels from it. You can beat the game by then.

Yeah, the fact that I got 45 exp for defeating an enemy 22 levels higher is a rather extreme case of artificial difficulty

Yea this second level is absolutely infuriating. Way too easy for these rabbit ladies to grab you, especially when jumping through the air. Then, I’ve broken out the elf, and tried to escape The Valley. Multiple different times she’ll say she thinks this is the way out, and it leads to the same damn spots!!! The cannons shooting out the women again! Wtf is goin on? I’ve been trying this for hours and can’t get past it. Pretty annoying

The levelling system is one of the biggest problems. You get LESS exp for defeating higher level foes? That's made the second stage almost unplayable because the constantly spawning are always a higher level than me.

Looks amazing. One question though, how do you save the game? I knew from previous versions I had to pause with "P" but other than that I am lost. Maybe I'm missing it in the readme file?

You have to throw the armadillos at the sunflower by using grab THEN up as they jump at you it usually breaks the sunflower in two throws. I got to the boss in the second section but you cannot beat her. I've tried everything. I cannot break the two cannons, and at some point you get grabbed by the rabbits and die instantly, or your partner gets chain grabbed and you're overwhelmed by all these stupid enemies. It has been a very long time since I've gotten THIS frustrated with a game. I was really excited for this release but considering how insufferable this second section in and how tedious it is (i've been on it for over an hour and a half now) I'm not sure how much more of it I can take.

i am still stuck on the sunflower with the constant enemy barrage. how did you get passed it? usually in the demo they do not appear when i go for it.

Yeah the second area is the definition of anti-fun nonsense exclusively for the rabbits spinning jump grab. Please fix this section like immediately. I'm okay with grapples instantly killing me but for god's sake don't make it infinitely respawning instant kill grabs that are next to unavoidable because of how generous the hitbox is for their spinning jump. Or at least make it humanly possible to mash out. Or explain how you're supposed to do this section because I seriously don't know what you did while playtesting this that made it doable. Its especially awful because you can't like grind up enough hp because at any time they can jump you and instantly kill you, Its even killed me while I leveled up in the middle of the grab and refilling my health.
