Patron Loyalty Rewards. Thoughts?

I meant I'd be using both criteria if I did this, not one over the other.

I think in the long run the lifetime rewards would be better idea than the continuous pledge. That way it's a little easier on the folks with less consistent income that can't always keep pledged all the time.

I think lifetime pledges would be best in my opinion :) I can't say I mean I know I havent been consistently pledging all the time, but overall I still pledged 12 times... I understand its not pleasant being"hit and run"

Yeah, I remember people not buying in to them too much previously. I was just trying to think of something that, as I and others have said, won't eat into actual game development time as that has to be the main priority.

Yeah, animation libraries didn't really work out before, so I can't imagine they'd work out now. Exclusive access for test games could be a thing. Thanks for feedback thus far. I'll be thinking of ways to possibly implement this down the line.

the best reward you can give to anybody is to listen to suggestions others make for your games^^ but that doesnt need long time pledging, advice should always be taken seriously

Maybe access to try and beta test games you're thinking of putting on here or thinking of eventually putting on the bomb site? Like for example we never got to try the game that was supposed to be a reward for entering the Angels2K tournament. The patrons who qualify could get exclusive rights to try those out and help you develop them and then when it's to a point that's it's ready, it can end up on the bomb site or on here for all to try/buy. So basically exclusive beta access. It would be best to be something you were going to work on anyway. Something like the animations would sidetrack you from the development of the games you have on the burner so might not be the best idea.

As someone who would probably qualify on both criteria, I'd of course love some kind of little reward or benefits. Not entirely sure what would be appropriate though; FireSpin mentioned a Discord but I wouldn't get much use out of one of those. Maybe access to sneak previews, or restarting those animation libraries you used to do? I suppose it depends on what you could fit in around continuing to work on all the games you've already got going on.

While I haven't always been able to pledge (which automatically disqualifies me), I do think special rewards for people who have been longtime supporters would be a nice thing to do.
