Symphogear S2 Episode 1 Reaction

I might prefer S1's premiere, if we're just talking about crazy pacing & an absolutely bonkers cliffhanger, but it still feels so good to back with this show, especially seeing how much feels improved upon in comparison! I'd say, however, that cold open segment, the Noise's new designs, the action sequences, and even that concert are much more notably entertaining this time around... I swear, it seriously kicked it up a notch!
Feels like, with the introduction of Maria & those sisters (twins?), we're building towards individual fights between Valkyries, especially Hibiki or Tsubasa vs Maria since we know how much that relic means to both of them... very curious if Maria is like Chris, in possession of multiple relics (and will eventually join our girls by the season's end)... either way, very excited to see what's gonna happen (and hear new music too)!
(PS: Should I go back to the "harsh white" lightbulbs for my main room light? I had to put soft white in temporarily but idk it looks better or worse from top down between the two... and I also had to lower the anime audio an extra decibel or two, it got REALLY loud for a handful of scenes, just nothing too crazy for lowering.)
