Changelog
Main features
Added support for GTA V Enhanced.
Added indicators for supported game builds for FiveM.
Overhauled configuration management. CGR is now aware of pending changes and shows a small warning.
Added an option to toggle between metric and imperial units, useful when defining top speeds per gear.
Moved the CVT option from global to configuration specific.
Config/Format changes:
Existing settings_general.ini still compatible, but beware that only EnableNPC and Unit are used.
Existing configurations in XML format are still compatible. New CVT parameters are added when saving.
Technical details
A huge part of the work for this update was basically the complete internal overhaul of the script framework and configuration management - most of these, you won't notice at all. This was necessary because the CVT parameters were added to specific configs, which opened a whole can of worms caused by how little the previous method kept track of. The old method just wrote gearing values into the vehicle and the game would keep track of those for you - that wouldn't work for the CVT, so I had to cook up something else, and overhaul the whole script internally...
This is actually quite important for TurboFix which had an issue that always bothered me - when closing and re-opening the menu, the configs are reloaded, but changes you made before closing the menu were overwritten. Unlike Manual Transmission (and Dynamic Vehicle First Person Camera) where you would change stuff and expect it to stick, with CGR and TurboFix you'd rather play around with the values, then see how they work, and then re-open and tweak things further - or commit to it and save the changes - or just don't want to bother and close without it overwriting your perfect tuning settings. This ideal workflow is now integrated in CGR and will also be rolled out to TurboFix, and maybe other scripts if I find this way of working more suitable. Feel free to suggest which of my other scripts apply for this. Custom Torque Map just shows configs created externally so it doesn't use this.
Enjoy the script!
Notes
Please be aware that I will be less available throughout the coming month or so. If you need help with anything, it pays to double-check the FAQ, the README of the script at hand. When reaching out for help, provide as much info as you can, most importantly a clear and reproducible problem description, and log files from the script.
Next up is probably Dynamic Vehicle First Person Camera, because I see a lot of potential in the ray tracing in Enhanced for reflections for vehicle mirrors. With a few tweaks it's already possible in select vehicles that don't have a messed up mirror material.
