Fixes and improvements for 5.7.0
Some problems popped up due to major structural changes for new features introduced in 5.7.0, which have now been fixed. Specifically:
The last analog axis (Slider1) was not being picked up during assignment
Some buttons for analog actions could be nonfunctional
Improved re-identification for composite devices
The re-identification feature added in 5.7.0 couldn't confidently re-identify some composite devices such as Fanatec wheel bases, if their system ID changed. With help from Fanatec additional markers are now saved for applicable devices, such that these devices can now also be automatically re-identified. Specifically newer wheelbases and devices like Fanatec wheelbases starting with the CSL DD profit from this, especially because these products receive frequent driver updates.
Analog camera control for steering wheels
Being able to see where you want to go is pretty important. In addition to the buttons to look left, right and back, joysticks can now also be assigned for camera control. Steering wheels with joysticks or sim rig setups equipped with additional joysticks can now be used to look around - freeing up two buttons in the process.
