Since build 1.0.3095.0 of GTA V, many of my scripts have stopped working, while I had decided to take a step back from GTA V and modding to focus on life and other things. This was unfortunate, as I did not have any intention on picking things up again, leaving many of my scripts in a broken state.

I've decided to pick things up again at a slower pace, but in a way that is worthwhile for me. Creating and maintaining mods is software development after all, which is the same as my normal job - so spending so much time on work got unhealthy. Add to that the additional "work" went unpaid, this situation did not sit right with me, which is why I am switching up things: to create a more sustainable situation for me regarding modding, and allow me to work on stuff for you to enjoy.

Changes and how it affects you

New updates for my existing scripts and new scripts and mods, will only be accessible through a Patreon membership. The scripts will require a unique "license", which you can generate while being a Patron. This license grants you lifetime access to the scripts using that license version, as long as no significant changes are made to your system.

How it works

• After becoming a Patron, you get access to License Generator

• Run License Generator and allow it to access your Patreon information

• A unique license will be generated, and scripts requiring Patreon can now be used

• Unrestricted number of activations on any number of systems while being a Patron

• License stays forever valid for the activated system configuration 

• License usage is 100% offline and does not require any online connectivity

What is affected

Driving-related scripts such as (but not limited to) Manual Transmission fall under this new Patreon model.

Scripts that are more used as community tools or have a lot of community contributions enabling them (such as Add-on Vehicle Spawner and Handling Editor) are not affected and will remain public and free to use.
