I had a conversation with a supporter a week or so ago, and I thought I should make my position on this Patreon thing clear.
Call me old fashioned, but I don't exactly believe in 'paid content'. My whole deal with cosplay the whole time has been doing fansigns for free, doing birthday shoutouts for free, and doing shoots because I want to do them and posting them for free. As such, I guess Patreon is really not a good platform for me. I want to continue doing the things I do for free, for free. I don't want to take previously free content and charge for it because let's face it, that seems like a dick move. The one exception is my goal lingerie shoots, which are like rewards for hitting a Patreon goal so it seems fair to me that only those who helped to reach that goal should get the shoot.
If, like this person, you think my reward tiers are not worth your donations or not as good as my free content, just think of it as though your donation is going towards the better quality free content that you like, as it really is enabling me to do more and better cosplays. If that doesn't work for you, then I'm sorry I don't know how to do Patreon properly and I won't be offended if you cancel your pledge. I only ever set out to collect donations from those who just wanted to help me out, I'm not here to sell anything. If you want to support me by buying something, then consider purchasing some of my prints.
I realize this got kind of long, but thank you for your time and understanding. <3
