Patreon is pushing this "thank you Patrons" day hashtag to try and trend on social media.
I want y'all to know, I don't need some hollow corporate backdoor advertisement campaign to just tell you folks how much it means to me that you are here. In fact, I feel like making an event out of it cheapens the sentiment.
Be wary of any creator who only thanks you because a hashtag made it cool.
