The nice thing about an arbitrary, unfair algorithm: it's easier to just make what you want knowing there's no use trying SEO.

2021-03-01 21:34:39 +0000 UTCIt has limited monetization from the start, but It is not a big problem for me, as the video contains integrated sponsorship and I wasn't going to monetize it originally. I don't have a problem with the fact that some topics are considered controversial, but the lack of clarity of what content will cause which consequence is rather frustrating. Luckily, it is the first time for me to be struck by the algorithm in such a manner.

I've seen other creators say that YT considers much of the political situation in the Middle East as something it doesn't like. I suppose if you get demonetized will be another sign that this is the problem!

2021-02-28 15:22:44 +0000 UTCYes, I noticed this too on the analytics side. It seems that the YouTube algorithm is not notifying the subscribers on a large scale. As a result the views are 25% of what was expected. I think it is because the video mentions the Islamic State and 9/11.
