Also!! I am excited to chat with everyone about the ending and how it is supposed to be sad. To me, David did what he thought he had to save Lucy. The entire show he just kept pushing and pushing and I think we all saw it coming since his addiction. The way the show wraps up with his mom and the revisits is something I really enjoyed. I was just shocked I wasn't more upset, I think I was just happy with how everything ended, no extra episodes were needed. Fantastic show, a fantastic ending. Thank you everyone for watching our first Patreon series. On to the next!!

Oh you get way more Cyberware in the actual game. Nothing like the Cyber-skeleton, but you can get the sandevistan. It's honestly SO much fun to use.

2024-06-23 01:49:03 +0000 UTCThe only reason Adam Smasher managed to keep his sanity with all this tech, is because he never had any sanity to lose. Canonically he is a "high functioning cyberpsycho" Hes been the main villain of the series since the tabletop games that came out in the 80s. In those, empathy is one of the stats related to how much cyberware you can handle, and his empathy stat just says "Yeah right". Having a loving mother and a great support group of friends is why David is able to handle so much cyberware.

"Adam Smasher, name to know, to some, a hero of the fourth corporate war. To others, a fully borged boogeyman, but to all, a living legend" "What kind of legend?" "The kind that fills graveyards on Arasakas order" Adam Smasher was the man who killed Johnny Silverhand, and many other Night City legends.

I agree the writing was on the walls about David likely dying through the later episodes but I think most of us were hoping for a way to have him saved, or at least live a little longer once he got Lucy as there is “treatment” for Cyberpsychosis that’s talked about in the game and I believe MaxTac consists of a lot of CyberPsychos. But seeing Adam Smasher just tear him apart like nothing was not the direction people were expecting, and right after Rebecca was just horrific timing and too much in one go.

Interesting fact about them naming it Apogee, the word means "climax" or "culmination", which is a great description of both the tech and of david's story. But the second definition for the word Apogee is more interesting, Apogee also refers to when the moon is the furthest away from Earth in its orbit.
