The Princess Bride - REACTION/COMMENTARY

So this was recorded last week but I had some major technical difficulties so it took a bit to get up for you guys. One of the issues that took place was the autofocus going wonky. Somewhere during the transition from intro to reaction we went out of focus and we somehow never noticed for the rest of the video.. Super frustrating! But it is what it is. So ya, we're a bit blurry for the entire movie and outro. The movie however is fine. Sorry guys!

I know you're talking to Jarrett but I just wanted to throw in that we're still working on the PO box thing!! I'll have Jarrett follow up with that ASAP. I went to get one and had a few hiccups. None of the proof of address I brought was good enough for them it was odd. Anyway, it's kinda a long story but we're still getting one, I'm really sorry for the wait! But for now, maybe the ebook thing would be faster! I'll let you two handle that just wanted you to know!

I know you love books, and I was going to send you one of mine if you had a PO box. Alternatively, I was thinking I might make it free on Amazon for a week Do you have a Kindle account? I can't do free hardcopies, but I can do free e-copies. I think you will enjoy the story, given you love history and the period of WW2. There are some very interesting facts interwoven with fiction within the story. The book I will do as a freebie is the second of two books with mostly the same cast. Let me know if you want me to do the free thing and I'll arrange it. OR... if we could maybe go to the message section and exchange e-mails, I could send you a download of both books and you can read them in order. And yes, your daughter sounds exactly like mine. Have you passed the Harry Potter stage yet? Never saw the kid when a new Harry book came out. She has finished and published her first book, so she's pretty happy about that. Yep, encourage your kids to read and their future is assured. Cheers mate.

Patinkin reveals his favorite line from the film, and it’s not what you think! https://youtu.be/s_t3uDVPiRc

Hi guys. Sorry I'm slow to the party. Busy day, So, Princess Bride... I've probably watched this twenty times. My kids loved it, and PB would be in my daughters top five movies. When she was young, she'd dance about the house as the princess bride crying. "it's inconceivable!" She's a smart cookie. When she was two years old, I'd read her Enid Blyton bedtime stories, like the Faraway Tree collection. Of course, I would try and hurry bedtime along, so I would attempt to skip pages. That never worked. So, I skipped paragraphs, but no.... spung!!! The kid was on the ball. It was more like, "Daddy, you missed a word..." Yikes. She now has two degrees and teaches English literature to advanced students and specializes in Media studies. Parents... never underestimate the power of a good bedtime story. Given how many times I've watched this, I never before picked up on the line "one day we'll all wear masks. " How amazing was that! Loved all the characters, but Mandy Patinkin was the standout. It's incredible how different his character was here compared to the roles he played in Criminal Minds and Homeland. I have always loved Peter Falk too. (Reader/narrator) Do you guys remember Columbo? Might be before your time. Great detective series. If you ever do another comedy, and want a classic, The Great Race (1965) with Peter Falk, (his best role) as The Professor and starring Tony Curtis, (Jamie Lee-Curtis is Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh's youngest daughter) and the late great Natalie Wood, is a fun watch. "Press the button Max" is a famous line from that movie. My fav baseball movie is "A league of their own," with the beautiful Genna Davis, and Tom Hanks. (He's not beautiful, but a great actor.) My fav Geena movie is "The long kiss Goodnight," with Samual L Jackson. (List-worthy if you haven't seen it.) Fun and action-packed mother / young daughter dynamic. If you are going to do a Western, it MUST be The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly, voted best western ever made on IMDb. Number three best movie on my top ten list. The Morricone soundtrack is incredible. I've rambled long enough. That was a fun watch along. Thanks mates. BTW, we are not all convicts (criminals) here in Australia, just mostly. 😁
