Great line from Helena "Not yet, not Beth", but wow were people throwing spoilers around back then.

Ya that's why Paul made such an uncomfortable love interest for me! It just was too complicated and already all icked up by that scene and I just didn't love it. But you're right, I was really weirded out by Paul at first especially but looking back I guess he had plenty of reasons to be weird in that moment.

No! You’re not the only one. That scene weirds me out, too!
Paul says something about “Beth” playing a schizophrenic act (I think) and blowing hot and cold. She tells him he should try it… so he does. He’s obviously not used to behaving like that and it’s all a bit awkward and weird and he really seemed to me like someone trapped into doing he doesn’t want to do. I don’t know. The whole thing felt really weird and creepy.
I remember feeling that way the first time I watched this episode. It’s a really good performance by Paul’s actor here. Looking back on it I’m very impressed.

I've never seen the Blues Brothers!! But my step dad is a huge fan.
Ohhhhh angel wings!! Didn't notice that!! Can't wait to see more if she makes Villanelle look like an amateur!!

Great reaction Kelsea. Did you notice the nod to John Candy's famous line from the Blues Brothers. "Hi, this is car 55, we're in a truck." The writers are having fun. I also loved the quip from Sarah, "my Ukrainian sucks." Helena, as you will discover, is Ukrainian, and her English sucks. As everyone will explain, the scars / markings on Helena's back are Angel Wings. She's the Angel of death. Villanelle is an amateur compared to Helena. Love your journey. Keep up the good work.
