It also means she can turn any argument in a way that supports her beliefs. She has also been allowed a lot of leeway (and hopefully rope to hang herself with) because Ezra doesn't want to be a tyrant.

Its’s public knowledge that Silas is married to Ezra, therefore it’s not unreasonable to think Gannet and Silas have grown close. Even if she knew there had been tension between them he’s still family in her POV. But yea she’s gonna get what she deserves real soon haha

And the best part: For plotting and high treason Tatiana is BANISHED and exiled and forced to live in the human world forever, harrharrharr! Plot hole: how does Tatiana know that Silas is Gannet's biological father, but not know that he is human? Aletta, Gannet's mother, was banished for fraternizing with humans, which Tatiana certainly knows. And that plot of hers that she just pulled through does only work if both the King and Gannet are personally connected to Silas and would run to see him.
