The concept of the infected is slightly different than that of a zombie, making it more interesting for the viewer: you think you know what to expect when you actually don't.

Definitely a grim movie, the late 90s/early 2000s were a bit like that. My pick is to be on Duaffy's team in a zombie (or infected) apocalypse. You seem pretty sensible. I think you're right, a lot of the story is not that logical - it's just whatever the producers need it to be. The stylistic way it's shot I think tells us that it's going to be this way. I absolutely love Brendan Gleeson (Hannah's dad), hopefully you'll see him in a few more movies down the road. Also - that makeup is horrifying, well done :D

2021-10-27 03:36:24 +0000 UTCAnd there’s a misconception that people that are infected with the Rage Virus are zombies but that’s not true as they’re still technically alive and human. The virus gives them rage so uncontrollable and deadly that they will chase, attack and infect or kill all who are uninflected. There are some infected that retain their intelligence to some degree, allowing them to do some things normal humans do in order to continue track uninflected down. So there’s no need to shoot them in the head as they’re not undead and unlike the undead, the infected can’t eat or drink at all as the virus prevents them to. Leading them starve to death in a matter of weeks.
