This is the movie I mentioned to have watched during the intros of the first MCU movie reactions, I just couldn't remember the name at that moment. I even thought I was mistaken because these characters are completely external from the Avengers.
Despite having watched it, this time I had more insight to fully understand and enjoy the plot.
While watching it, I even thought Peter was Thor's son, but the name of the mother doesn't match with Thor's lover. It would have been interesting though...
Since I said I would watch all the movies, I couldn't skip this one.

Time dilation as you describe it, is based on speed, and would not apply here. They are not traveling at or near light speed between two points at any time. They have some other magical method for moving faster than the speed of light (the "warp" they use that involves the wall of geometric symbols that appears floating in space). They aren't actually having to cover the distance between the points in space, so there is no distance/speed involved that would cause time dilation. Also, yeah, as another poster mentioned - it's a comic book movie and time dilation would be very inconvenient (but not unheard of, in cases where they want that to happen).
