Hello Test Subjects!

Hi everyone!! I can't believe you all have donated to support my projects. You are truly inspirational, and it's about time I introduce myself.

I'm Lot 51 aka Casey! A web developer by day, and modder by night. With the pandemic going on and working from home I started feeling so isolated and drained from worked all the time :( I started watching Twitch streams as background noise and following TS4 content creators which inspired me to get back into the game for fun. As we all know the game lacks some basically functionality, and my frustration drove me to start creating my own mods like the Mini Weather Controller, Dust Buster, and Bug Life Mod.

At the same time I was watching GTA V role players on Twitch and was so fascinated with the custom functionality these devs were adding to the game like hunger and thirst, and custom phone apps, on top of a game that really didn't have support for it at all. This is really where my inspiration came from to start building Plumbob Elements. A framework to truly unleash the game!

So what's the plan for the future?

Plumbob Elements is currently in active development, with the goal of becoming a full framework for other creators to create their own apps. My first stage is to build the core functionality that unleashes the game for you the players and ensure that it's stable. Here is what my ideas are for the current apps I've shown so far:

• Weather: Info about your current world's weather. With the ability to trigger weather events, forecasts, and lightning strikes!
• Home: Gives you full control of your house with "smarthome automation"! Create scenes for your TVs, Stereos, Lights, Robot Vacuums, maybe more?
• Gigazon: A build/buy catalog that gives you a full e-commerce experience. Mark items as your favorites, create collections, share collections with other users, then build your cart like you would on any online store! Once you place your order, your items will be delivered by a carrier or a drone depending on which membership your sims can afford ;)
• TS4 App: Pick your packs that you want to disable, toggle mods on/off and then launch your game! I plan to have other settings in here like game settings and managing your saved camera positions.
• SulSul: Plumbob Elements will be an online service that connects you with other users, and SulSul will be your gateway to connect with friends, send messages, and even gifts to be delivered by Gigazon's delivery service.
• VooDoo: Just like it sounds, this will be your hub to truly help or torture your sims. You can push interactions like farting/burping/dying/aging. Once connected to Twitch or YouTube, a chat bot will give your viewers control through commands you create. 
• Simstagram: This is an experimental app right now that shows your Sims' follower counts, but would love to introduce real social media features powered by the Scrapbook app and SulSul.
• Scrapbook: Every screenshot and video you take in game will be cataloged by household and stored with a "moment". Moments will show you what lot/region you were in, how old your sim was, how they were feeling, and who they were around as well! Once you've captured your story, you'll be able to build "Scrapbooks" that organize your moments into sharable stories online! Think Sims 2 Exchange.
• Calendar: Similar to the scrapbook app, this will show events/holidays/moments through your household's entire history. The game clock counts from 0 to infinity, so you will always be able to see how much time has passed since the first generation, and be able to look not only to the past, but to the future. Set reminders on days for important things you need to do, or maybe even schedule a Date with another Sim.
• Zubo: Ride-share for your Sims! Every lot from every region (including hidden lots) will be at your fingertips without ever loading the Map. Choose which sims you'd like to travel with, and if you're into realism, you can be charged a fee for everyone's ride! Once you've chosen your destination, you'll be shown where you're going and when you'll be arriving based on loading screen events.
• Pro Tools: If there isn't an action within Plumbob Elements that is available through a cheat, then this place is for you! The normal cheat command box (ctrl + shift + c) will be available here with the ability to save common cheats you use. This app will also give raw data being received from the game. This means you'll be able to dissect all the buffs, and statistics that are on your sim and what their values are. Perfect for other creators to debug their mods.

This is just a small list of what Plumbob Elements can and will do! I have so many more ideas for integrations like syncing the colors of your LIFX or Hue lights with your Sim's mood and StreamDeck buttons that trigger actions, but it's your ideas that will help this project succeed.

I'm still missing some packs so I can't extract all the functionality and resources from the game yet. I'm also working on the online service infrastructure. This is where your funding will truly help. I want Plumbob Elements to be free, always up-to-date, and only funded by donations. I hope this can be achieved and I greatly appreciate your support so much.
