Lorne was one of my favourite characters on Angel, and that ending had me feeling a lot of feels. And yeah for a character to become as beloved as Lorne in just one season, Andy Hallett you magnificent bastard!

Tim Minear tells a story where one of the crew was trash talking the show in front of the extras completely unaware that Joss was playing the part of Numfar. That particular crew member was gone by the next season. He also tells of being questioned by another crew member about the "extra" sitting in Tim's directing chair and telling them that that was the one extra that outranked him and everybody else on set. He gets to sit wherever he wants.

The soundtrack for these episodes alone is unique in the Buffyverse, and really gives you the feeling that, this is indeed a completely different universe.
