2023-03-25 11:57:05 +0000 UTCAnother great one. I might be alone here but I actually prefer this remake over the Swedish version. It's based of a book trilogy. So this wasn't supposed to be the end of the story. Sadly the movie wasn't financially successful so the 2nd and 3rd movie never happened. Just like Mindhunter. 😔😔 However the entire trilogy exists in the Swedish version. Which is also excellent. Personally I just prefer Fincher's style. And I really wanted to see all three movies. ☹️ This one won the Oscar for best editing, which isn't very surprising because in Fincher's movies the editing always stands out. The performances were all great, especially Rooney Mara. And Stellan Skarsgård is so good but always underappreciated. His sons are more famous than he is even though he's made so many movies or shows (like Chernobyl). Always nice to see him.
