This month has been insane!

My girlfriend is pretty famous in the trading card game community for 'Flesh and Blood' and was invited to New Zealand for a bit over a week, this month, by the company that makes it. She had fun, but for about a third of the month, she was gone while I stayed home to take care of the kitties. My autism doesn't like sudden big changes, to that really slowed me down, but it wasn't a negative thing at all.

Our oven somehow died, and despite everything I have the technical know-how to do, it's beyond me, so I've gotta give up and hire an expert to fix it.

My migraines/cluster headaches got worse for a little while, so I'm test driving some new treatments that seem promising. The fact that it's apparently both clusters and migraines was a confusing element that we can now hone in on, so that's promising, too. They did put me out of commission for a little while.

Aaaaand, as the pictures here show, there's a new cat, as of last night! This is Eve. She showed up on our porch on Christmas Eve, but we didn't take her in, right away. But she'd taken to living under our place, and it's been brutally cold here. She's stupidly affectionate and friendly, and last night she tried to get in, and I just ...let her. So now she's ours. Gotta get her to the vet and checked out, but she's a sweetie, and I'm glad she's here.

I sat down to write all this with the thought that there was a ton more to write about, but most of it sounds minor even to me, when I started, so it's been cut out. This is long enough, as is. Thank you all for sticking with me, and I'll get that new art scanned and posted soon, I hope!
