On this watch I was better able to enjoy Natalie's performance and the darkness that I found to be a thing of beauty within the movie. This also demonstrated to me the joy of having a co-watcher reacting to the movie (more than four days after the fact but the mind can be fooled on a subconscious level during a full movie reaction viewing, I guess...). I watched one ballet performance in college which was a production of "Dracula" and was more attentive to the interpretation of the story than the dancers themselves. I was also more attentive to my girlfriend's soft, fluffy textured dress sleeve but let's just never mind that...

It's so hard to know what's real and what isn't, but I agree with you, I think the only person she actually hurt was herself. And I do think Lily was a good person. Girl, if you haven't seen Suspiria (2018 version) I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's another dance/horror movie and it's incredible, I think you might really like it.

Sooo captivating it was actually a struggle to be sure not to get too lost in the movie playing on my tv while watching your reaction in this watch along format lol. I still don’t really know what to think about what was real with the mother towards the end, I think she did injure her since the mom most likely did call her in sick, their dynamic is so twisted and intriguing ~ I believe she still came to see nina perform in the show. Such an enthralling soundtrack as well wow
