Development Update #7

This update will be about the next update, version 0.4.

As a numbered update, this will be a big one, I currently have set out a lot of work for it, organised into a checklist, which is currently sitting at around 150 new scenes. With each scene being anywhere from 4 to 30 images, this is easily over 2000 images worth, and this is ONLY for content around new stages (not including dreams, menus etc...)

Stats Menu Changes

The first big upgrade I want to tease is for the stats menu. This menu is what ties everything you do in the game together, it's how you check progress, compare characters and see all the important statistics that we all love. Take a good look at all the images you currently have in the stats menu, as they will ALL be replaced in 0.4.

The current menu was introduced back in 0.2, and my lighting / posing have gotten a lot better since then, so I am redoing every single image from scratch, if you want to see a tease of this check out the Patreon channel in the discord!

I will also be adding the first extra outfit for each character. Every character will be in their everyday clothes by default for consistency, and there will be a new button to switch to their swimwear, which also comes with unique pose for more variety. I've also seen requests for more stats such as body fat % in the menu, which I will definitely look into too.

New Stages

Every character currently in the game will be getting 2 new stages. That's 20 new stages of content for the games standard story progression. I've already made some story scenes that I am very excited to share, including (finally) your first chance to get serious with Cat:

Other Scenes

My list of ideas for dream scenes is practically bursting at the seams. It would be impossible to include all of my ideas in this one update, but I would like to include as many as I can since they are very fun to make, and I think they make for a great surprise to break up the repetition of the gameplay loop every so often. What dream scenes also allow me to do is create scenes with multiple characters that you wouldn't usually see together.

When will the update come out?

Obviously it is far too early to give any kind of release date, as you can see there is a lot of content planned for this update, because of the incredible support on the Patreon, I have began transitioning my day job to part time to give myself more time to work on the game, (however this transition is happening slower than I would like), but I would hope to see progress accelerate further in the near future once I am no longer effectively doing 2 full time jobs.

I will give some pre warning now that I would not expect this update to release any time in July, it will likely take longer than a month. However, to compensate for a month without any game updates, I will be updating the Patreon constantly with teasers, exclusive images & videos, and plenty of behind the scenes content.
