Draft: Control mages are probably your best option here, as they're good into rammus, lissandra, jhin, seraphine etc. Basically melee champs are quite bad here, as you're playing vs long range and cc lockdown of rammus taunt, lissandra W etc. For example, a melee champ that would work here is Sylas, as he has a good matchup into Lissandra and can work against their teamcomp. Build: I think Lichbane into Nashor is a very good build on Ekko and it's one i'd personally run, it is much easier to build nashor compared to getting components for rabadon, and voidstaff third on a champion like Ekko is usually too early. and if you need it, then it's usually a bad Ekko game as your champion does not LIKE building items like voidstaff early. Runes: doesn't really matter, scorch is ok if you think you can kill someone and is probably better with ignite playstyle on avarage, else gathering does just fine since your champ loves AP.

Or in general, in games where the enemy team has a lot of cc/peeling abilities. I pretty much need to expand my pool since i don't really have any confident mid picks except for Ekko Build After lich nashor i go for Raba and then voidstaff, sometimes zhonya before void depending on the game, is this an optimal build? Runes I kinda pick HoB/Electro as keystone depending on the matchup, but i'm not sure about gathering storm. I usually pick scorch over gathering when i feel like i can kill my lane opponent in lane, but again I'm not sure how optimal that is Oh and btw, since you were wandering, that was EuW D2 and yes, people still walk into my ulti sometimes
