General Update

Poll for Pokemon interlude is done, had a big big writing session today and finished it as well! Agatha interlude, Tax revenue agency interlude and a short forum interlude. Took the top three and wrote something for each.

The next interlude vote will be for VGC at the end of the month.

Chugging along on my original story (time loop), should be appearing 1st november if all goes well. (Might do a live release on discord with voice chat if anyone is interested, to make it more of an event. I am very proud of the upcoming story to be honest. First time I'm writing a full book first before releasing a chapter.)

Did some cover images for Harry Evans and Pokemon with a friend, you can see them in collections. No voting or anything, just wanted to have something more personalized :P

I noticed that now this month that I didn't post the schedule people were asking about it. I guess that means that it helps at least someone, so I'll keep doing it starting october. Just been so sick recently I often barely have the energy to write the chapters I have to.

Covid really destroyed my immunity. Was sick for five months of the year last year and its shaping up a bit similarly this year as well. Very unfortunate, but otherwise doing fine and other people have it much worse than me in the health department so I'm still very blessed.

I'd like to say here that I'm very grateful for you support. Quite frankly not a day goes by when I don't feel incredibly happy about my job. I think out of everyone I know, I have the most fulfilling career, and that makes me feel very fortunate.

Btw, side note if anyone cares. Been living in Kosovo for a year now. Very good place if you have an online job. I'm just happy to be out of Switzerland and all that pressure and social isolation. Making a lot of good friends and just meeting up to hike and play cards. It's been doing wonders for my creativity, which is why I was able to start writing that fourth story in the first place. Otherwise I don't think it would have been possible.

If anyone is ever in Pristina, which I know is very unlikely, just hit me up.

As a disclaimer since everyone seems to be doing it: I don't use AI for my writing, just for image generation occasionally.
Fundamentally even if AI could write books I wouldn't use it because I am the sort of person that if I don't express myself artistically I essentially become incredibly depressed within the month. I also don't use it to edit because it destroys what I feel like my voice.

One interesting thing I've observed is that some of my stories on places like fanfiction.net have been getting a lot of guest hate comments that seem ai generated, which makes me think that some authors have started using automated ai to flame "the competition" xd. That's honestly pretty hilarious. I'll probably have to stop reading those things if that's the case.

Btw, opened a BlueSky account because I'm gonna try to do some marketing or whatever for the book release in november, if you want to follow me its bor902 with the same profile picture as here. I post word count updates, stupid stuff, and quotes from authors that I find dumb.

Don't really like in X that you have to pay to get views now so I went for that instead.
