Alright, I need to weigh in here... I have an OG Steam Deck and for me, it's very much replaced most of my gaming on PC. Sure, there's a number of games (notably less system-intensive indies) that I'll play on PC due to Keyboard and Mouse control. However, I've been one of those apparently rare people that's been incredibly hesitant to move onto Windows 10, much less 11. But all my time playing Elden Ring? Steam Deck. If I want a bigger screen, I got a USB C to HDMI adapter with a pass-through connector for power that I just plug into said deck and now I'm playing on the TV like I've got a wired controller. (JSAUX is who I got mine from.) Because this game uses the latest version of the Unity engine and most likely will be available via Steam (Love it or hate it, they're the biggest game retailer.), I would certainly appreciate Steam Deck and controller support.

2024-09-19 00:53:19 +0000 UTCYeah, a lot of games that I would love to play on Deck have too small text and even worse UI to actually play it. But average Visual Novels with "normal" text work ok-ish to me.
