The Last Barbarian 0.9.30 is OUT!

Hello, Everyone!

I'm happy to announce that TLB 0.9.30 is OUT! This is one of the most complex releases for me, so get ready; there will be a lot of text.

As I mentioned before, I've been working on porting the game to a new save system, as well as thoroughly reviewing every quest and event to ensure they align with the game's lore.

"Politics is a dirty business" is one of the most challenging quests. It requires me to check and fix a huge number of events and bugs. After that, the work should become easier.

So, what's new, and what has changed? You can find a complete walkthrough of the discord server. Currently, the quest stops at Hugh's execution. There are a few moments I wanted to discuss with you in the next vote, and I didn't want to delay the update any longer.

Clan War

The Clan War quest is fully completed and has 4 endings.

1. Betray Shorka (Bad ending) - Barbarian becomes a personal concubine to Dork, and the Witch, using orcs, burns Devenant, taking revenge on its inhabitants. This is a game over.

2. Betray Dork (Neutral bad ending) - Shorka kills everyone indiscriminately in the underground, including her beloved Shamorka. Erenlius also dies.

3. Honorable Duel between Dork and Shorka. Shamorka gives birth to Dork's offspring (Neutral ending) - Dork dies at the hands of Shamorka, and in despair, Shamorka kills Shorka. Erenlius survives.

4. Honorable Duel between Dork and Shorka. Shamorka does not give birth to Dork's offspring (Good ending) - Dork dies at the hands of Shamorka, and Shamorka and Shorka leave the valley together. Erenlius survives.

Each of these endings will have an effect on the game's conclusion.

Politics is a dirty business.

The main changes involve the methods of persuading the key residents of the city of Devenant, namely the Banker, the Brothel Owner, and the Innkeeper. You can convince them in several ways, and this will also affect the further progression of the game.

Persuading the Banker:

1. Ask for a loan and "accidentally" burn the debt ledger during the interview (dishonorable method).

2. Seduce the banker while he sleeps in the bath (lustful method).

3. Bring a goblin debtor to him (respectable method) (currently in development).

Persuading Vernon (Brothel Owner):

1. Free his prostitutes from the Torus dimension (lustful method).

2. Bring a volunteer to the brothel who has been transformed into a woman (dishonorable method).

3. Free the prostitutes in the Arena (respectable method) (currently in development).

Persuading the Innkeeper:

1. Work as a waitress and finish the shift with profit and a low level of irritation among customers (respectable method).

2. Take a sample of the beer, deliver it to the witch to later blackmail him (dishonorable method).

3. A lustful method is in development.
