Added 2016-07-05 21:14:10 +0000 UTCThe updated comic pages for the Aron project were sent out today, and I want to thank you all for your continued patronage. This is turning into a long comic, but I'm probably going to wrap it up this month.
I had a lot of fun doing the Mary Ann character update picture last month, as well. I may have some ideas brewing for some future images and stories. Asking me "if I have a comic planned for this" every time I draw something is a little overboard. The answer is always "maybe". I generally just don't know right away after doing something. But patience is often rewarded.
But, I am interested in hearing your thoughts on the digital drawing and sketching, versus the traditional way to do these images. Is one preferred? Do you even notice a substantial difference?

2016-07-07 13:23:37 +0000 UTCI have to catch up on the last few work videos as i bought a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet a few months ago to try and help during a phase of wanting to be a better drawer but it was more of a step back. I'll be interested to see if you talk at all about your transition from pencil drawn to digital, or the combination of both, in the most recent work video or in videos to come. Thanks for the great work this month , Jay.

As for your digital drawing I have to say that I also like both of your ways of drawing and for me it doesn´t really matter as long as you feel comfortable with it. Your art is awesome with both methods! Greetings!

It's fun getting to see Aron's various interactions with the different women in his life. I'm assuming that Hilde will be showing up soon; given that she's closer in age to Aron their interactions should be intriguing. Now, I'd love to see Audrey in here, but I don't know if she's in the scope of this work. Keep up the great work no matter what you choose. :)

2016-07-05 23:02:15 +0000 UTCI'm hard pressed to tell the difference between the 2 formats. I'd say do what is easier and or faster for you to do. I love the quality of the work you put into your drawings, keep up the good work. I look forward to the rest of the pages.

2016-07-05 22:37:07 +0000 UTCI don't mind which way you do your imaging. Just do what you feel works the best. Also, these last pages were terrific! I really liked the bunny, Milly. I'm crossing my fingers that we get to see more of her in the future.

It could just be me, but I can detect the differences between your traditional and digital linework. Your traditional work seems to have a bit more of an 'organic' feel to it, as opposed to the latter. Either way, you're damn good at what you do. ♥
