A strong second for Magnolia. Such a unique, multi-layered story with an incredible cast.

There will be other Easter Eggs like that throughout the series and future seasons. Not just to Fargo but to other Cohen brothers films that you've seen as well.

Thanks Brandon! I love this callback to the movie. Very clever! I’m glad we’re not on the only ones that felt that way about Stavros but ultimately came around to really feeling terrible for him after Lorne got his hands on his life!
The fish thing was crazy! Seemed so fitting with all of Lorne’s madness but didn’t quite fit in and obviously couldn’t have been pulled off my Lorne. Nature is wild!
Magnolia is definitely on our list! We’re excited to explore more PTA

The callbacks to the film are awesome! I wish we’d rewatched right before starting the series

Congrats on the baby, guys. 😀
I don't think it's the exact same parking garage, but the garage itself is named 'Gustafson' who was Willam H. Macy's father in-law in the movie. I'm thinking either his business partner or even his grandson runs the business now. Stavros also decides not to park in the lot after only being there a few minutes, which confuses the employee - just like Steve Buscemi. Stavros is one of those guys that you don't feel bad for until the end of this episode IMO. Then you look back and remember the dog and the adderall and it suddenly hits you.
The fish is one of those things that made me do a lot of internet research. Apparently it's a freak occurrence where storms with strong wind, like blizzards and tornadoes, can suck fish and frogs out of nearby bodies of water and cause them to rain down from the sky - and they can even land in populated areas. It's also referenced in the movie 'Magnolia', which you guys should definitely react to at some point. It's from Paul Thomas Anderson, who made Boogie Nights and a lot of other great movies.

The money drop was supposed to occur on top of the Gustafson Parking Garage. This is a tribute to Wade Gustafson, the father-in-law who got killed during the money drop on top of the parking garage in the movie.
