Absolutely. 2008 Rambo, though at times hard to watch, is an awesome film.

Woah, woah, woah. He's got a Genesis? Then forget it because, compared to modern games, it's dogshit. Have him try Herzog Zwei instead!

I only remember the arcade. I remember it being a shooter with the pov behind Rambo.

Not the biggest fan of the film, but the video game for Genesis was freakin' AWESOME!

The next two are radically different from the previous two. Iβd say youβve laughed during a Rambo movie for the last time.
Heh.

The next movie takes a much different tone compared to the first 3.

I saw this at the cinema when I was a teenager and loved it even though it's completely ridiculous and the Russian helicopters are inaccurate to a certain degree. I remember at the time, Stallone was in his 40s and as young as I was, I thought that was really REALLY old! Now I'm almost 50. lol.

Thank you! Haha I honestly didn't even realize there were two more films! I thought it was done at Rambo 4! Thanks for the recommendations! I've seen Ghost but I really want to get Daniel to watch it for the channel!

great reaction and discussion Dan and Sam ~ my mom took me to see this movie in the theater when it came out in 1988 when I was 7 years old. And even though Stallone is in his 60s in Rambo 4 (2008) and in his 70s in Rambo 5 (2019) the 2 next movies are probably the goriest in the whole Rambo series..........and ps....if you guys are enjoying 1980s war movies, I highly recommend, 'Red Dawn'(1984) with Patrick Swayze....and not a war movie at alll...if you haven't seen, 'Ghost' (1990) ( also with Patrick Swayze), I highly recommenced you watch and react to that movie ~ D

Loved your reaction! If anyone knows cartoonist Jim Rugg, he made a really cool mini comic βRambo 3.5β that is hilarious!

Point of historical fact: Lenin's codename before the October revolution was "Big Forehead"

This was the most expensive movie ever made at the time - a budget of around $60 million. Crazy how much "bigger" big budget action movies would soon get. The next Rambo in 2008 cost $50 million which was considered relatively low budget for big action films at the time. As others have said Rambo 2008 has some next level type violence. I'm not easily shocked but couldn't believe the level of carnage in it.

This is definitely the weakest film in the series, the next one though, one of my favs.

Haven't seen this, cautiously looking forward to it. If there are any requiems where Rambo eats ice cream with a nice japanese girl I am going to flip my shit though.
