COMING SOON!

Not really a spoiler for the Evil Dead remake. If anything the title of the movie says it all. jk

Guston Zimasheen

Happy 4th! I think we are going to try! There's so many shows right now, but we want to try to get to it! It may not be until late in the year though -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Any chance of you guys reacting to Ash Vs Evil Dead? It’s awesome in every way!!! Happy 4th!!

Jim Tatro

This is the first time I've seen Jensen Ackles, but I've been pleasantly surprised. His acting and persona are far more interesting than I expected. I haven't seen Firefly, but there are a few shows I'd love to watch with the Schmidts: "The Queen's Gambit," "Hannibal," maybe "Bates Motel," and my very favorite, the best dramatic series I've ever watched: "The Blacklist" with James Spader. The Schmidts have a lot to choose from!

William 1611

If Daniel is your editor, he has his work cut out for him in the future. The first episode of Season One was clean, wholesome, and cheerful compared to what comes later. Poor Daniel . . .

William 1611

Jeez... Spoilers

Mr. Writhms

Of the two, it's definitely more essential to have watched the theatrical AoD, so that's good.

Tyler Foster

I had no interest in it but then I saw a recommended video “Inside of You” podcast with Jensen Ackles about his role in The Boys so now I’m psyched for it coz I loved him in Supernatural. Also. Speaking of inside of you and Michael Rosenbaum. Smallville would be an awesome show for the channel. And also recently watched an episode of same podcast with Nathan Fillion talking about Firefly. Firefly is also a must watch though unfortunately all too brief (cancelled after one season) but there’s also the movie Serenity.

Alex

Hahaha! Nobody was.

Aaron Barlow

The Boys new season is bananas, can't wait to see your faces! After Army of Darkness will you be doing the Evil Dead 2013 remake? If so be warned, it has one of the most gruesome chainsaw scenes in cinematic history. Cheers!

Brian Shipman

I'm very much on the fence about it. The writers and producers have demonstrated certain biases that are extremely offensive to me . . . you probably can guess what I'm talking about. (It's not just the sex; I expect that.) But I keep watching, to see what happens to certain characters. And the Schmitts watching it might make it more bearable!

William 1611

The season is already insane!! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Well we’re 1/2 for your suggestions! We did the theatrical for Army of Darkness but went Unrated for Die Hard since Daniel had already seen the original! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Awesome!! I love when you guys watch for the first time too 😊 Seasons 1-2 are already on the channel, but we’re excited for Season 3! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

I have no idea how Daniel is going to edit that! 😂 -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Starting this month, I think, we’re going to try to start re-editing and uploading the films that got taken down and hope they stay up this time! If we can get them to stick, we’ll definitely continue the series 😊 first up for a second try will be The Godfather trilogy in preparation for The Sopranos -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Unrated for Live Free or Die Hard! Oh awesome! If we can get ahead and get a little more free time I think that would be fun to explore for Patreon! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Spoiler alert: we were not prepared 😳

TBR Schmitt

Dude, for real. I've been on the fence abou this series, but I might continue if they do it.

Philip Davetas

Holy shit! I was too timid to ask them, but that's a great series. Especially the last two movies. "A violent work of art." Gabe Cash from TANGO & CASH.

Philip Davetas

Oh, yikes. Y'all are gonna do "The Boys." I don't usually watch reactions to streaming series, but I've enjoyed a few, and "The Boys" hooked me from the first episode . . . not something I'm proud to admit. I know that y'all are grown-ups and everything, but Sam, please have some form of tranquilizer on hand when you watch "The Boys" . . . I will say no more . . .

William 1611

They had trouble with the first Rambo in terms of copyright, so I don't know what's going to happen.

Tyler Foster

You've probably already watched both of them, but in the case of both Army of Darkness and Live Free or Die Hard, I recommend watching the THEATRICAL versions of the movies, and then in the case of Army of Darkness, just watching the original ending after the movie ends, before the discussion. In the case of Army of Darkness, while it is not Raimi's preferred version, the theatrical cut is the version that most people have seen, and which has several lines of dialogue that are iconic when it comes to the character of Ash. As for Live Free or Die Hard, while some of the added language is nice, it is pretty clear that the Unrated version was mostly done after the fact using ADR, as a good 75% of the additional language comes during sequences where Bruce's mouth is not visible (funny aside: there is a scene around the middle of the movie where Justin Long's dialogue is obviously and blatantly ADR because it doesn't match his mouth at all, which was commented on quite a bit when the movie came out in theaters as a PG-13, and...it's still like that in the Unrated version). I also highly recommend not watching A Good Day to Die Hard at all. There's just nothing good about it. FWIW, this is another case where the two cuts are much different: the Unrated cut actually drops an entire returning character, which is a very weird decision.

Tyler Foster

Live Free or Die Hard is one of my fav action movies of all time.

Terry V

Oh shoot you guys are watching the Boys just as I got Amazon Prime to watch it on my own lmao. Now I have to wait to watch it with you both for the first time.

Jonathon Dragovan

It'd be funny if it was just you and TBR looking at a poster for 2 hours.

Aaron Barlow

That scene lol.

Aaron Barlow

There's one scene in the first episode of the Boys that will be the most disturbing and hilarious you've ever seen.

Aaron Barlow

Can you guys do the whole Rambo storyline?

James Whalen

Yea Live Free or Die Hard! Hopefully it's the theatrical version? Btw, the Cobra Kai Kid put out 3 cartoon shorts of what he calls "Kai Toons" that are pretty good. Well first two episodes are good. The third is meh. They're basically like 2-3 minutes long, maybe a bit longer, I didn't look at the times or time them. I watched them on my phone. There are no Season 5 spoilers or anything, it's all from season 1-4.. If you haven't seen season 4 skip episode 1 because it's called "how season 4 should have ended." Pretty cool stuff. I think this would be cool for some separate (aside from the schedule) stuff since they're so short. Or maybe you could react to all 3 episodes in one video.

Alex

Hahaha shoot! I was just looking for the best quality version of the poster 😂 -Sam

TBR Schmitt

I can't wait for ARMY OF DARKNESS. This officially moves into what we know and love about ASH VS. EVIL DEAD and everything in between. LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD is a lot of fun. There's an unrated version, but I think only because he's allowed to say "Yippee Ki-Yay, motherfucker" once for a PG-13, but the rest is just language issues. No real graphic violence or anything. It's directed by ex-Mr. Kate Beckinsale. He has good grasp of action in this. I'm stoked for this week.

Philip Davetas

Prepare yourselves for The Boys! 🙃

Tristan Durant

We need to know if you are watching the Theatrical or directors cut of Army of Darkness. Also I am assuming you will be watching the actual Movie and not "The Art Of", as depicted in the screen shot of the above coming soon pic you made.

MCL-1984

JESUS! WHAT A WEEK! Leta go..!!!
