Dirty Rotten Scoundrels should be on this list

2022-05-27 08:58:41 +0000 UTCLmao! Such a classic!! That would be epic if they did this one. “Come on, Terry, show us hairy chest” 😂
Rudy Hernandez
2022-05-24 18:45:17 +0000 UTCI’d also like to suggest TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, which is probably more of a dramady. I like to think of it as a comedy with dramatic elements. Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, Jack Nicholson, Jeff Daniels, and John Lithgow give pitch perfect performances. MacLaine & Nicholson won Oscars; it also won best picture, screenplay adaptation, best director.
Robert Boyd
2022-05-22 17:21:15 +0000 UTCThis is probably the hardest poll list. All of these movies are so good! It's very difficult to choose
Scott Kerr
2022-05-22 01:10:20 +0000 UTCSpinal Tap all the way.
Gino Padula
2022-05-21 21:49:13 +0000 UTCI almost suggested that, funny movie, would be cool for them to see more young William Zabka being basically Johnny Lawrence
Ken Veader
2022-05-21 19:53:44 +0000 UTCLord all of these movies are great lol
Jeremy Garner
2022-05-21 05:29:43 +0000 UTCI'm going to suggest "Just One Of The Guys" (1985) which is about a teenage girl who poses as a boy in high school and it co-stars William Zabka as another bully, this one even worse than Johnny Lawrence.
Jeff Mills
2022-05-20 11:14:42 +0000 UTCSince you just watched "Happy Gilmore", it would be remiss for me to not suggest the greatest movie ever made about golf starring the irrepressible Will Smith, "The Legend of Bagger Vance". LOL Just kidding! Nope, I mean "Caddyshack". You will both love it.
Jeff Mills
2022-05-20 11:11:56 +0000 UTCmmmm, the Pâté

2022-05-20 06:46:03 +0000 UTCYes !!:)
Florian Meier
2022-05-20 01:11:13 +0000 UTCAs a (happily!) married couple, you really need to watch "War of the Roses" sometime.
Colwyn Baily
2022-05-20 00:10:01 +0000 UTCYes! Excellent suggestions! And Mallrats (1995) as well, please!
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2022-05-19 23:03:13 +0000 UTC“Clerks” and/or “Chasing Amy”
Nick of Time
2022-05-19 21:50:05 +0000 UTCIf you guys haven't already seen either of these I would recommend Joe Dirt and Grandma's Boy :)
Nonimal
2022-05-19 21:07:01 +0000 UTCMore comedy recommendations: - Burn After Reading (2008) - Hudsucker Proxy (1994) - Bull Durham (1988) - The Monster Squad (1987)... but I'd need some backers before I recommended that wholeheartedly... maybe it's just nostalgia glasses :S
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2022-05-19 19:45:56 +0000 UTCYou DON'T UNDERSTAND how much I love Miller's Crossing. Easily top 3 gangster films of all time!
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2022-05-19 19:44:18 +0000 UTCFargo, Raising Arizona, O Brother, and No Country are the "big" Coen movies in the reactor-verse, but I'd really love to see basically everything else: Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, Hudsucker Proxy, The Man Who Wasn't There, Burn After Reading, A Serious Man, and Inside Llewyn Davis.
Tyler Foster
2022-05-19 19:27:57 +0000 UTCOh boy, you guys picked some winners for your other two polls, but I think the options here (other than the Coen brothers and Major League) are a little lacking :( The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) is a GREAT Coen brothers' comedy, which basically NOBODY has seen, but Raising Arizona seems to be the more popular one. Truth is, I think I just don't find comedies made before 1990 very funny anymore (did when I was younger!) Hmmm... does The Monster Squad (1987) count as a comedy? That'd be fun... kinda got a Goonies vibe to it.
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2022-05-19 18:40:02 +0000 UTCOmg Raising Arizona! A classic that I never see channels checking out!
Trepanation21
2022-05-19 18:07:46 +0000 UTCI gotta recommend you guys react to Gung Ho with Michael Keaton. Underrated 80's comedy and you guys seemed to really like him in Jackie Brown
Ken Veader
2022-05-19 15:58:45 +0000 UTCSurprised Ferris Buller is winning, Raising Arizona is the best film on the list, voted for that Caddyshack and Major League
Ken Veader
2022-05-19 15:56:45 +0000 UTCCan't wait for the eventual Spinal Tap reaction. Every day is a day closer.

2022-05-19 15:43:25 +0000 UTCThe Wedding Singer (Adam Sandler) Analyze This (DeNiro mobster comedy) ^^ Some good ones for comedy.
Jonathan Patrick
2022-05-19 15:32:14 +0000 UTCFerris bueller is a great film! Also, Caddyshack is a classic. cant go wrong with either one!!!

2022-05-19 09:29:59 +0000 UTCAlso Raising Arizona is the correct choice here 😆
Charlie Keeler
2022-05-19 07:13:58 +0000 UTCMan o man so many great comedies but I’ll tick off a few in no particular order and apologies if these were already reacted to…. Smokey and the Bandit, Talladega Nights, 21 Jump Street, Dazed and Confused, A Shot in the Dark, Step Brothers, Coming to America, Bridesmaids, The Bird Cage, Friday, Anchor Man, Best in Show, Shaun of the Dead….I’ll stop there but sooo many more I could recon 😆
Charlie Keeler
2022-05-19 07:11:02 +0000 UTCToo many choices! Just kidding but I honestly want you to watch them all!!! They're all great movies, even War of the Roses, it is definitely gonna lose, but it's honestly one of my favorite dark comedies. I ended up voting for all of them except Caddyshack and Ferris, probably the winner, but it's only because I've seen both so many times myself, so, selfish reasons. Ah just watch them all!
Joe D. MacGuffinstuff
2022-05-19 06:27:02 +0000 UTCI'm sorry if I already recommended these comedies, I can't remember! Knives Out (2019) The Full Monty (1997) As Full As It Gets (1997) Nothing To Lose (1997)
Domino
2022-05-19 06:11:22 +0000 UTCwhich I just did! :)

2022-05-19 05:37:37 +0000 UTCJohn Candy is genius in SPLASH but it’s a supporting role

2022-05-19 05:20:25 +0000 UTCReally pulling for Fast Times to beat Ferris Bueller. FBDO's fine but Fast Times is great.
Tyler Foster
2022-05-19 05:17:21 +0000 UTCGive me some recommendations, please :) I know Daniel needs to watch Uncle Buck (which I've seen), but what are some others? Great Outdoors? -Sam
TBR Schmitt
2022-05-19 05:17:10 +0000 UTCWAR OF THE ROSES is one of the darkest comedies I’ve ever seen. It’s great. Side note: the guy sitting in the office in the prologue and the epilogue does the voice of Homer Simpson.
Robert Boyd
2022-05-19 05:08:22 +0000 UTCSad to say I don't usually watch a lot of comedy films because I tend to watch alone, so it's not as funny without others, so Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the only one I have seen, that I know of at least. Watched that many times growing up and love it. Looking forward to maybe seeing these other ones that may not win however.

2022-05-19 05:04:12 +0000 UTCFerris beulers day off is finally winning woohoo!

2022-05-19 04:56:27 +0000 UTCI watch quite a few reactions and I haven’t seen a good reaction to “Better Off Dead”. It’s a super solid comedy. Please keep it on the list as a future reaction if it doesn’t win this poll. 🇺🇸
