Every time I watch this I find something new or come to different realizations. This time round, it was that the garage at the beginning of the film is the exact same one in 1955. The mansion burnt down but the garage was ok. So all that land around used to belong to the Brown family. Then I noticed that when Marty goes to scare his dad as the space-man, at the very start, he's not wearing a belt and hair dryer. A few seconds later you see them appear. Just the typical continuity errors that most movies have ofc. They also say at the scene when the Delorean first drives out of thge back of the truck, how did it get in there with the Doc inside it, since the door of the Delorean open upwards in gull wing fashion, but I came to the conclusion that Doc remote controlled the car into the back of the truck, got to the carpark, remote controlled it out of the truck then drove back into the back of the truck and closed all the doors for secrecy and to run some diagnostics. Well who knows? Sounds a bit far fetched but also plausible. The other way could be is if he hired someone to drive him to the carpark while he was hidden away in the truck already, and unpack some of the gear out of the truck, but I think that might be unfeasible. Again, just an idea.

I watched this in the theater when I was 10, and haven't seen it since. It was a blast watching it again with you guys.

I never thought about it before but looking back, kind of crazy that a small California town has a hardcore porn theater in its downtown square.

I was born in ‘81 and literally grew up watching these movies, so I forget how stressful the last 20 minutes are to a newbie. Lol
This series has the best continuity of any other movie series, and there are so many little “Easter eggs” you’ll catch on further rewatches. It’s really brilliant.

I thought chicken part was also in the first one. Huh. You will see :) My favorite part is probably his new sound performance. It's too soon for you, but your kids are gonna love it :D

I agree that all three are quality films. It is one of the better, more complete movie trilogies I've seen. I enjoyed watching Back To The Future again along with this video. It's been a long time since I've sat through it and I was kind of surprised at how much I'd forgotten about the film.

This is what I would call a perfect trilogy in that there are no bad films in the trilogy.

These are so much fun. The writers went to a lot of effort to insert a million and one little details between past and present that Marty subtly impacts or that fill in backstory - you guys caught a bunch of them, like Goldie being mayor in 1985.
Couple of other fun past/future easter eggs:
1. In the beginning of the film, Marty meets Doc at Twin Pines Mall. Doc remembers that once that was all open farmland. He says "Old man Peabody owned all of this. He had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees."
When Marty goes back in time, he winds up in a barn. As he drives away while being shot at, Marty swerves and runs over one of two small evergreen trees planted next to each other. As he drives away, the old man with the shotgun yells from behind him "My pine!" He lets loose another shotgun blast. destroying a mailbox with the name 'Peabody' on it.
At the end of the film, when Marty returns to the mall to try and save Doc from the Libyans, the sign for the mall now reads "Lone Pine Mall."
2. In 1985, Jennifer is trying to get Marty to send his demo to the record companies, but he fears rejection. She says "Like Doc is always saying, if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything."
Then, in 1955, when trying to convince George to ask Lorraine to the dance, Marty tells him "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything."
Then, back in 1985, George is talking about his novel and says "Like I've always told you, if you put your mind to it you can accomplish anything."
So this little bit of advice makes it from Doc to Jennifer to Marty to past-George, where he apparently internalizes it and it helps drive him (to then give the same advice back to... Marty. lol).
3. In the opening montage, we see a newspaper article saying the Brown family mansion burned down and the land was sold off. Not long after, Doc says it took him "30 years and his entire family fortune" to build the time machine. In 1955, we see he has a huge house (mansion?) and a two-car garage down the hill from it that he uses as a workshop.
But earlier in the film, when Marty first goes to Doc's place with all his clocks, we see a shot of the outside... and it is that same garage/workshop! It's now surrounded by commercial buildings. Where the mansion was in 1955 is now a burger king, and the garage is old, shabby, and out of place... but it's the only piece of that family estate that survived the fire and that Doc still owns - ironically, since it's the workshop that he nearly catches on fire in the movie.
All of the movies have lots of these, it's great.

watching you guys cringe at his mom coming on to him is so funny. My favorite line in this movie is (maybe you were adopted) lol even Doc found it hard to believe a kid so cool came from the worlds most wimpy nerd. lol
