Commando (1985) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Back in the 80s, my friend had this VCR machine that could play VHS tapes backwards smoothly, and we ended up watching Commando play backwards after watching it normally. If you hadn't guessed, it was hilarious. Especially when Bennett lets go of Jenny, but reversed, she flys into his grip. Explosions and soldiers running was also funny. Nowadays we can do all this through editing and media software so it's not such a big deal.

It’s funny that this movie was made to pick fun at 80s action movies of the time and it was only 1985 so it’s funny to look back and think of how the action genre was turned on it’s head in only five years.

Hilarious action movie. Arnold kills so fast in this you can't even see it. I've always tried to guess what he is in this Ranger , Special Ops , Black Ops. I think he might be Black Ops. In the Directors Cut he talks about doing things he shouldn't talk about.

Honestly, watching the Island set-piece is what a TTRPG feels like when a level 20 ranger decides to tear through a level 1 dungeon.

From interviews Arnold has said that he refused to do action films unless he also got to do comedies as well.

Arnold has a lot more range then people give him credit for. Most people think he was only over the top action which he does really well but if you watch all his work you see him go from total comedy in twins and kindergarten cop to a darker horror style like in End of days which i feel was totally under rated. I always felt he was a much better actor then he got credit for.

The definition of a goofy, fun popcorn movie where you can just switch your brain off and simply enjoy the madness 😆. Prime action hero Arnold. I really hope you guys do something like Kindergarten Cop next, as a more (kind of) light-hearted Arnold movie. Underrated imo. Twins is up there with the best Arnold comedies too. Keep up the awesome reactions. Love what you two do
