PWInsider reported on the news, which Fightful Select has confirmed. The meeting was with the medical staff, which was aimed at educating the WWE roster on a lot of the medical treatments that have been developing. This specifically covered PRP and stem cells.
WWE noted that they may even end up working with the stem cell company that a lot of talent have been going to in Cancun. The therapies have become extremely popular among pro wrestlers. Notably, Rey Mysterio extended his career with stem cell therapy.
WWE stated that they weren't endorsing the therapies but wanted to educate and highlight an understanding, medical consensus and the like to help everyone evaluate options for recovery. The talent that we spoke to found the meeting enlightening.

Regardless of personal beliefs, from a strictly scientific standpoint, stem cells have proven to be an effective treatment for injuries and recovery.
