What was some of the talent's reaction to Cena turning heel & do they think this was the "right" call for him during this retirement tour
A lot of pleasant shock. This was the type of thing that even people on the roster had thought was possible, but just didn't think would happen. There was a lot of excitement on the roster, because they knew it would lead to more eyes on the show.
Hey Sean, any word on Mina Shirakawa returning to AEW soon?
She's sidelined with an injury, but isn't expected to miss too much time. She told us that she was under contract with Stardom, but was looking to spend some more time in the United States. She got her visa renewed late last year.
Is Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors showing up in AEW just an Ishii type situation, or is there more going on?
I can't speak to Clark Connors' status, but Gabe Kidd is being used on a per appearance basis, but has made a good impression. That's quite the 180 from how AEW viewed him a few months ago, but as of mid February, I don't think he'd signed a new NJPW deal.
