Is there any talk of merging the Continental and Intercontinental titles? It seems like Omega and Okada are going into a match with both titles.
There have been numerous pitches throughout the last several months for this to happen, and when I asked there was plenty of credibility given to it.
Any insight on the AEW play by play team? Was this week's shuffle a one-off following Grand Slam or was it a trial balloon for something more permanent? Would love to see Ian Riccaboni utilized for either Dynamite or Collision on a regular basis and feel that the Dynamite crew clicked very well this week
I wouldn't expect Ian Riccaboni to be there on a permanent basis. He actually just started a new day job, which he's long maintained while doing commentary work. He fills in when necessary, but maintaining a family-friendly schedule has long been important to him.
How aggravated are talent/creative with Hollywood Rock coming in and screwing up plans for two straight WrestleManias? Can’t imagine it’s as cute the second time around.
I wouldn't say aggravated. Most people in creative are fully aware of this possibility and have long joked that they figured it would happen. It's a part of the job. There are talent that wish their time wasn't cut, but don't feel it affects the majority of Mania matches.

It's long been reported he doesn't, but loves his day job, and working it allows him to spend most of his time around his kids, who are young.

Treat it like the old IWGP Intercontinental Championship, AKA viewed as nearly equal to the World Title. With Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada being the match that forges it, that shouldn't be too difficult!
