Ladybug Page

I want to draw (I always want to draw), but I'm not in the state of mind to draw anything coherent, so I'm already sketching another clutter-page of random stuff, also mostly random stuff. I've got a very simple comic commission that's got a 'cute' energy, which is something I can't channel for very long. I always want a gross-out, or a monster, or some angry alien penis. Characters being nice and cute is pretty foreign to my imagination, but I would like to possess that range. Some with furry art. I don't feel it, but I want to get good at it, because being able to draw good anthros is a skill all by itself, (conveying the important aspects of human emotion, but through non-human frameworks) and there is always going to be demand for artists who can do good anthros. Hmmmm. I think my next vote-for-a-thing should involve anthro.

I mean, realistically? My spirit animal is probably a mole or sloth, or any sort of stationary animal that spends more time making a nest than exploring the jungle. Not very sexy. I lean pretty heavily into the animal themes, so if I did more furry, my idea is that I'd use scary nature facts about sex as the basis, like how certain species only rape, or how other can literally 'scoop' the semen of previous males out of the female, replacing their sperm with his.
