ROH Final Battle gets interesting venue

ROH is set to return to a classic venue.

ROH has yet to announce the date and location of the Final Battle pay-per-view. ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni noted on social media that the company was "locked in" entering Final Battle season, but further details have been unclear. However, Fightful Select has learned that the annual event, which dates back to 2002, is indeed planned, and it is set to be held at a venue with plenty of history.

Beyond the Bell and Mat Men Radio's Andrew Zarian and Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp have learned that the Hammerstein Ballroom is the planned venue for ROH Final Battle, but there's no word on the specific date of the show. This would mark ROH's first time running the Hammerstein Ballroom since 2019; the company has not been there since the Tony Khan era began in 2022. ROH held many shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom, which was previously used by ECW in its later years. ROH Final Battle has emanated from the Hammerstein Ballroom several times. The venue hosted the show in 2008, and it was used from 2011-2013 and 2016-2018. We're told the show is likely for the week before Christmas.

WWE previously held the ECW One Night Stand events at the Hammerstein Ballroom in 2005 and 2006. GCW also ran the Hammerstein Ballroom in 2022, and they will return to the venue in January 2025
