Details on recent WWE signing

Last year, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Lance Anoa'i had secured his release from MLW. He didn't make it much of a secret following that he was aiming to land in WWE. It would appear that is the case.
On November 7, MuscleManMalcolm posted a photo of Lance Anoa'i in an NXT outfit with other Performance Center talent, prompting Fightful to inquire within WWE about his status.
Those that we spoke to with the company confirmed that Anoa'i did sign with WWE this summer. However, he's been sidelined with an injury. He isn't imminently planned for creative within NXT or the main roster, and likely won't be cleared for a while.
