Duke Sketch: Gorilla Girl
Added 2018-12-12 04:24:13 +0000 UTCOof. I stuggled with this one. The prompt was for a gorilla-woman, one that could live in my Kee-Va setting. My first attempt at a sexy gorilla was so dismal that I scrapped it, and I waited over a week to try it again. I don't know what to think about it. I am NOT attracted to this thing, but I'm not attracted to the vast majority of anthro-characters, and yet I'd still like to get better at drawing them.

You know what, I think she's actually rather pretty. She's absolutely not human, with the way her hair/fur pattern comes in in front of the ears and especially those nostrils, but then actual human noses aren't sexy either. There's something about her bangs and tails combo that makes me think she'd be sexy if she were human, but is still pretty in an ape - and I say that because there is absolutely such a thing as a pug fugly ape.
