Thistle Prick
Added 2018-01-28 11:32:13 +0000 UTCDid a quick sketch of Thistle Prick to clear my head. Really. This thing only took like twenty minutes. It's amazing how fast I can draw when I don't have to draw legs or feet. Faces come naturally, and the torso is fun to draw. I wish everything went this quickly, but it can't. Drawing a fully body is just inherently more time consuming than a bust. Also, the coloring technique used for this is very quick and easy, but that's because it only uses about four different 'blocks.' A comic page can end up using dozens. Just setting them up is a pain.
I like the way these busts are coming out though. I should make these a more regular thing.
