Wrestling companies looked into running major venue

The Las Vegas Sphere opened in September 2023, with its customizable venue turning heads and becoming the subject of much discussion. This naturally led to conversation about potential wrestling events running there.
We’re told by those associated with the venue that there has been some inquiry from wrestling companies about the possibility of running shows there, but not prior to 2025. We’re told that AEW Double or Nothing in 2025 could be for another venue in Vegas, but now there’s a strong possibility it won’t be there since WrestleMania is set for Las Vegas. However, we can confirm there have been inquiries from wrestling companies regarding the possibility of running an event there.
Thus far, we’ve only heard that there are inquiries, as opposed to plans.

2024-07-28 22:53:38 +0000 UTCI was at the Sphere a few months ago for a U2 concert during their residency there. Excellent venue for music, not sure how it would work for a Pro Wrestling show. However, I can see WWE pulling it off since they have years of expertise in high production values.
